San Juan, Puerto Rico – Luego de una exitosa primera edición, Bark and Play, el evento dedicado a las mascotas y sus dueños, regresa el domingo, 13 de abril, en Patria Yards, ubicado en el Distrito de Convenciones.
La actividad, que conmemora el Día Nacional de la Mascota, ofrecerá una jornada con actividades educativas, espacios recreativos y oportunidades para apoyar a la comunidad de rescatistas y albergues de la isla.
“Estamos emocionados de regresar con la segunda edición y poder celebrar un evento perfecto para disfrutar en familia. La comunidad amante de las mascotas sigue creciendo cada año y este tipo de actividades nos ayuda a conocer más sobre el cuidado de nuestros animales, entre otras cosas. Nos sentimos agradecidos por la oportunidad de repetir esta experiencia y seguir celebrando el amor por nuestras mascotas”, expresó, Leoner Págan organizador del evento.
Los asistentes al Bark and Play podrán disfrutar de talleres educativos, una variedad de opciones gastronómicas, música en vivo por DJ Salina y concursos durante el evento. Además, más de 20 negocios locales estarán presentes ofreciendo productos para sus mascotas.
Los perros también tendrán su propio espacio en el evento, con un parque exclusivo donde podrán correr, jugar y divertirse durante todo el día. Además, habrá un área de Pet Spa, donde se ofrecerán servicios como cortes de uñas, limpieza de oídos y otros cuidados especiales para el bienestar de las mascotas.
Este año, Bark and Play contará con un centro de adopción, brindando la oportunidad de dar un hogar a perritos que aún buscan una familia. Asimismo, contará con la participación de Luna Vet Help para recaudar fondos en beneficio de albergues y rescatistas de toda la isla.

Bark and Play Returns for Its Second Edition to Celebrate National Pet Day

San Juan, Puerto Rico (Monday, March 10, 2025) – Following a successful first edition, Bark and Play, the event dedicated to pets and their owners, returns on Sunday, April 13, at Patria Yards, located in the Convention District.
The event, which commemorates National Pet Day, will offer a day filled with educational activities, recreational spaces, and opportunities to support the island’s community of rescuers and shelters.
“We are excited to return for the second edition and to host a perfect event for families to enjoy. The pet-loving community continues to grow every year, and events like this help us learn more about animal care, among other things. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring this experience back and to continue celebrating the love for our pets,” said Leoner Págan, event organizer.
Attendees at Bark and Play will enjoy educational workshops, a variety of food options, live music by DJ Salina, and contests throughout the event. Additionally, over 20 local businesses will be present, offering products for pets.
