Dolores Vera, necesita de tu ayuda

Dolores Vera

¿Qué Me Sucedió?

My name is Dolores, and I am proud to be of Ecuadorian descent, currently living in NY. Life has taught me the value of perseverance, hard work, and family. I’ve spent much of my life as the “do-it-all” secretary and manager for our small family business in New York. Together with my sister, who cared for our children, we worked tirelessly to provide for our family and secure their futures.

Through our efforts, our third-generation grandchildren have achieved what once seemed impossible—attending some of the best schools in the city. One has even earned a place at Princeton University. Their success is a testament to the sacrifices and dedication of generations before them, and I am deeply proud to have played a role in their journey.

In my free time, I enjoy immersing myself in my computer, listening to Latin music, and reading a good book. These moments bring me joy and help me find peace amid the challenges I face.

A transplant would give me the chance to reclaim my life. It would free me from the confines of dialysis, allowing me to enjoy a better quality of life and create more memories with my family. I long to continue being there for my loved ones and to see the continued success and happiness of those I’ve supported and nurtured.
