ORLANDO, FL – El olímpico puertorriqueño Yankiel “El Doctorcito” Rivera, clasificado como el contendiente número 1 de la AMB, el número 5 del CMB y el número 7 de la OMB en las 112 libras, se enfrentó hoy por última vez al campeón internacional mosca de la OMB, Angelino “Huracán” Córdova, antes de su combate estelar a 12 asaltos en la categoría de 112 libras por el título mundial interino mosca de la AMB, que se llevará a cabo mañana sábado 23 de agosto en el MVP Fight Night del Caribe Royale Resort en Orlando, Florida, disponible a nivel mundial por DAZN. En la pelea coestelar, Yoenis Téllez defenderá su título mundial interino superwelter de la AMB a 12 asaltos en las 154 libras contra el contendiente número 1 de la AMB y campeón europeo superwelter, Abass Baraou.
También en la cartelera, la recién contratada de MVP, la campeona mundial de peso ligero de la AMB, Stephanie Han, defenderá su título mundial por primera vez contra Paulina Angel en un combate a 10 asaltos por el campeonato mundial femenino. El invicto contendiente de peso ligero, número 5 del ranking AMB, número 6 de la FIB, número 12 del CMB y número 14 de la OMB, con el nocaut más laureado de 2024, el canadiense “Prince” Lucas Bahdi, se enfrentará al excampeón mundial de la AMB, Roger “The Kid” Gutiérrez, en un combate a 12 asaltos en peso ligero de 135 libras, sancionado como combate eliminatorio de la AMB.
